Since 1979 we have been offering horseriding. We have vast experience and we have continually upgraded our facilities so that whatever the weather you can ride with us. Facilities include an indoor arena, outdoor menage and a gallop track (all with a sand and rubber surface). Added to this is a full set of showjumps. Horseriding Lessons: We are normally open Monday to Saturday. In winter on Friday evenings and Saturday's only or by special arrangement. Everyone is assessed and allocated a lesson time suited to their experience. We recommend (it is not mandatoty) riders to avail of the A.I.R.E. Amateur Tests. These encourage confidence and give everyone a goal to work towards. As Saturdays are very busy we encourage anyone interested not to leave it to the last minute to book as they may be dissappointed. If there is no availability we operate a waiting list and contact you when a vacancy exists. If you require further information or would like to make a booking please contact us.
Our horses are chosen for their temperament and ability. Connemara Ponies, Irish Draughts, Irish Sport Horses and Irish Cobs are included amongst our riding stock. Whether you are a complete beginner or more experienced rider you can enjoy our facilities as we take great care to match you with the right horse.
All our activities are overseen by a qualified and experienced instructor. The emphasis is on fun and learning in a safe environment with everyone positively progressing in their own time.
We are able to cater for School Groups, Birthday Parties and those with Special Needs. We offer reasonable Horseriding Rates, Family and Group Discounts.

Pony Trekking: This normally lasts one hour and is conducted at a walk. After an introduction to the basics we take you on a guided tour. Please note that the minimum age for this activity is 10 years old.

Pony Camp Weeks for children during school holidays. These run from 10am to 1pm daily, Monday To Friday. Tuesday to Friday on Bank Holiday weeks. Here children learn to care for their ponies and have a riding lesson each day. There is an end of week party on the Friday. Popularity of our Pony Camp Weeks mean that it is advisable to book well in advance.
Summer Pony Camps 2011

Kid's Leadrein Sessions (above). These normally last 30 minutes and are ideal if a child has never ridden before. Minimum age for participation is 4 years old.

Western Riding (above). We introduced western riding last year and it has proved to be popular. Some people prefer it to riding English style as there is more room in the saddle and they feel more secure. Western riding is perfect if you are not so confident, an experienced rider or you would just like to try this relaxed way of riding.
We provide hard hats for riding and we recommend comfortable clothing and boots with a heel.
