For example we have had racehorse just back from a lonf layoff to be exercised on the horsewalker for a few weeks before resumind ridden work. Insoection and sales preparation are also available. If you would like to discuss you and your horses requirements please do not hesitate to contact us.

Horses have been trained here at Drummindoo from the beginning. Over the years many horses were stated by us and have been exported all over the world. Our training process has evolved over time. When training we believe in the slow, steady approach gaining trust, not moving to the next step until the equine pupil is ready. Padraic Foy holds the Monty Roberts Preliminary Certificate in Horsemanship and uses Monty's concepts in his daily routine with horses. All our horses are strted in our round pen. Great emphasis is put on ground handling and long-lining. We aim to provide the best possible statr for every horse in our care.
Horses with problems such as diffficult to handle or hard to load are nothing we have not encountered before and our experience usually means these show a marked improvement in a short space of time. Past clients of ours include the Connemara Pony Breeder's Society (we were the center for Performance Testing of Registered Connemara Pony Stallions in 1995, 96, 97 and 2003) and October Films (our horses were used to make a tv documentary drama based on the life of the pirate queen''Grace O'Malley'' in the series ''Warrior Women'').
